I did want to THANK Everyone for Saturday and how great our first Cornhole Tournament turned out.  I was very happy with the results.  When we all pull together and it is amazing what can be accomplished!!!

There are so many thank you’s that are owed. 

AUNT SHARON – you are such an amazing person.  You were involved with every part of the tournament.  Without your knowledge and professionalism we could have never pulled off such a wonderful PARTY!  Thank you for the facility and all the hard work that you always do.  It does not go unrecognized!!! 

Uuncle John – the website that we assigned you without warning is AWESOME.  (we have learned you don’t leave the table at a meeting because you do not know what you will end up getting signed up for) Thank you for the itmes for the Silent Auction and all your help in the kitchen that day

OLD LADY (Sylvia) – thank you for all your hard work.  Where do you get your energy??  THANK YOU for helping!!

Darla – great job with the Silent Auction and the newspaper articles.  The articles sounded GREAT!!

Eric – thank you so much for helping out with the DJ, TV’s and the tournament.

Sherri – Thank you for being the calm helping hand between Darla and I.  All your hard work and helpful advice made the day a Success!!  The flyers that were done were GREAT!!  All your advice for the brackets and the tournament were definitely needed.  THANK YOU!!

Maria – Thank you for your gift donation for the Silent Auction and your hard work on the flyers.  Sorry for all the changes.  Game Time was up in the air and we were not quite prepared but THANK YOU for making all the changes.

Chris and Steve – Thank you for your help!!!  We appreciate your help that day. Since it was our first organized tournament it was all new to us and we managed with your HELP!!

Tracy –Thank you for staying all day and helping with the raffle.  You did a GREAT JOB.  You will have to let your neighbor know that we rec’d about $140 for both both sets of boards in the Auction. 

Carol – The Cornhole sets looked AWESOME!!!!  Thanks for face painting too!

Mark – (one of the Food Dudes)- Thank you for donating a lot of the food.

Uncle Gary and Aunt Chris – Thank you so much for helping with the Silent Auction, the ring brought in $250.00.  That is awesome!!!  (Lucky Carol who is the proud owner for an Anniversary present)  Thank you for all that you did to help out. 

Everyone who baked –(Stephanie, Toni, Darla, Lisa, Aunt Chris, Mom, Aunt Donna and anyone else that I am leaving out)  - I think the bake sale brought in close to $100.  That is GREAT.  That was a nice start for the Polka Dots Team.

Diane – Thank you for helping out during the meetings and bringing the back packs and the Candy Machine for the raffle and silent auction.  I am the lucky one who got the candy machine since Frank Fartharter left early) Thank you for bringing so many people( your wonderful family) to the tournament.  (All the Meatballz came -That was one of their team names)

Stephanie and Robert – Thank you for helping with  the TV set up and helping all day at the Auction. 

Erin – Thank you for doing such a great job on Recruiting!!! I am sure with the group you brought that they spent a little bit of money that day.  Definitely in beer sales!!!  What a nice friend who bought the AJ Hawk football and gave it back to Dominic.   

Toni – for running errands to get more buns and bring things over.  THANK YOU MRS. Behind the scenes!!

AUNT JUDY – Thank you for working the food and spending a lot of your time to make 64 corn hole bags.  The tournament would have not been a success without the bags.  It is amazing what duct tape can do!!! j/k the bags were great!!!

Uncle Tommy – Thank you for keeping the bidding going all day on the Silent Auction and I am sure there is more to thank you and Aunt Pam for.

Kristen – Thank you for the Blue Jacket items. I think they raised close to $100.  Even though I did not get them I know the Headlee’s are proud owners of them. 

Johnny and Suzanne – Thank you for your help that day.  With the food, etc..

Everyone who helped with set up and clean up. Everyone who participated in the tournament. (we know next time to do a double elimination and make sure we have plenty of time)  Thank you for everything it was a SUCCESS!!!!  I know I am forgetting someone for something so I am truly sorry but I will think of it.  My email is just to show how everyone contributed and it made it such a nice event!! 

WHOEVER READS THRU THIS LENGHTY EMAIL WILL KNOW THAT WE ARE NEED IDEAS FOR THE NEXT EVENT.  After talking with Aunt Sharon we realize that we could get started on planning another event.  Another Cornhole Tournament, A Mystery Dinner Party for Adults only, a card party……

Has anyone else thought of an ideas? We thought Jan and Feb are cold boring months that a lot of people are looking for things to do to get out of the house.  We need to zero in on all the hibernators to bring them out for a fun event??    By Christmas we should pull our ideas together and plan another event for the end of FEBRUARY/beginning of March.
